Emergency Communications Net

QST QST QST This is (your callsign), Net control station for the

Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service, RESPOND of Arkansas Net.

All amateurs are requested ti give priority to to stations on this frequency

of 147.165 MHz for the duration of a test drill to begin immediately.

This is a directed net. All contacts should be made through net control.

There will be an informal session for visitors and/or interested parties

with questions after the close of the formal net

On the first Thursday of each month we will also have a simplex, battery power, and homemade antenna checkin

on 146.55 MHz simplex. The purpose of this checkin will be to prove

your ability to check in during emergency situations. All checkins will

be welcomed so we will know you abilities in an emergency situation.
